Roadtrip 2017 Fall: Vancouver - Seaside - Bandon - Calistoga - Sedona - Sacramento - Seaside - Vancouver

Day 37 - hot day at Red Rock Crossing

The whirling eyes of Oak Creek.

This has to be the coolest place in Sedona on a hot day.

Oak Creek provides the perfect mirror pond surface.

Of course there are vortexes.

Emma has scratched out her mark in the wet clay.

Autumn in Oak Creek.

Emma plays hard to get.

What? A girl's got to take a break in this heat!

The building continues. The thrumming sound is louder.

I think I can also hear that tune from Close Encounters.

The swimmin' hole beckons.

Yup - it's moonrise time.

Further up the creekside trail - there is yet more foolishness with rock stacking.

Fall flavours mix with red rocks.

The natural sculpture gallery.
